Authentic Nigerian Dried Crayfish consists of whole, small freshwater crustaceans (technically comprising mixed species of matured shrimps, post-larvae stages, and tiny crustaceans) harvested from Nigerian estuaries and coastal waters. Our premium crustaceans are carefully cleaned and traditionally sun-dried to achieve a characteristic orange-pink color, firm texture, and intensely concentrated umami flavor. Whole dried crayfish adds authentic depth to traditional Nigerian dishes including egusi soup, ogbono soup, vegetable soups, and various rice dishes. The shells and heads contribute rich flavor and nutrients, making this a whole-food seasoning ingredient prized across West African cuisine.

Discard if mold, off-odors, or visible fungal growth appears
