CASSAVA FLOUR (WHITE AMALA / LAFUN)

Fine-textured white flour made from carefully selected, fermented cassava tubers (Manihot esculenta). The traditional fermentation process reduces cyanogenic compounds and develops a characteristic slightly sour flavor. This gluten-free flour produces smooth, elastic dough when prepared with hot water, creating the classic "white amala" (lafun)—a beloved Yoruba swallow served with rich soups like ewedu, gbegiri, and efo riro.
